BIOCEED uses cellulose as raw material, which is a natural and biodegradable material. It is GMO-free technology and a ‘green’ production process, which is resource-efficient and environment-friendly.
BIOCEED forms a neutral coating on the seeds, which naturally degrades within 28 days in soil. Integration of an active component (chemical or biological) with BIOCEED does not require any metal chelates, nor any specific complex formation. The active components in the formulation remain unaltered and are released efficiently on availability of water and subsequent dissolution of cellulose matrix.
The properties of BIOCEED material are customized to control the rate of release of a specific active component at the time of seed germination.
